Fees and Insurance

Fee: $85 for 20 minute session.

$175 for 50 minute session.

        $260 for 80 minute session.

I  have  elected  not  to  accept  insurance and I cannot provide a superbill.  I want all my clients to have treatment that is specifically tailored to their needs. Insurance companies require a diagnosis, can dictate length of service and generally create treatment and administrative hurdles.

Payment

Credit Card Processing with Ivy Pay

Ivy Pay is a credit, debit, HSA and FSA card processing service.  Their website is:  https://www.talktoivy.com/ivypay

How it works :

You provide a phone number, which I enter into an app along with a charge for the session fee

Ivy Pay texts you a secure link leading to a page where you enter your credit card information and approve the first charge

After future sessions, I use Ivy Pay to charge the stored card; the app sends you a text informing you that I’ve done so

You will only be asked to enter your credit card information once (unless you need or wish to change the card), and you do not need to download an app or regularly interact with Ivy Pay.

The service is secure and compliant with HIPAA standards for client confidentiality

Your credit card information is stored with Ivy Pay, not in my files or other records; I do not have access to your stored credit card information.

Cancellations

You must provide at least 24 hours notice if you will be unable to attend your appointment or you will be billed your full session fee.

Good Faith Estimate

Standard Notice and Consent Documents Under the No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
