Hello there,

I am a native Texan who grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.  I graduated in 2006 from Texas State University with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. I moved to Austin, Texas shortly thereafter.  

I spent the next 15 years working for a non-profit organization that specialized in serving the LGBTQIA+ community, people living with HIV/AIDS and their loved ones; and people experiencing trauma, depression or anxiety. 

I am currently on the board of Women Rising Project, December 2010-Present. WRP is dedicated to strengthening women through programs and activities that provide education, connection, advocacy and peer leadership opportunities.
